Future Prospects

  1. Department of Psychology was established in 1966. It is the second department of psychology in R.O.C.
  2. Currently the department has more than 400 undergraduate students.
  3. Department of Psychology offers courses covering basic and advanced psychology. In addition, the training in the department includes both basic and applied knowledge and skills.
  4. Undergraduate students are required to have a minimum of 134 credits for graduation. Among the 134 credits, fifty-five come from the required courses of the department. These courses provide fundamental training in basic knowledge as well as practice in psychology.
  5. Undergraduate students can further choose to master in one or several of six learning domains, including psychometrics, experimental/cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, personality/social psychology, clinical/counseling psychology, and industrial psychology.
  6. Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in exchange programs for studying in the U.S. or Japan.
