Future Prospects
- Department of Psychology was established in 1966. It is the second department of psychology in R.O.C.
- Currently the department has more than 400 undergraduate students.
- Department of Psychology offers courses covering basic and advanced psychology. In addition, the training in the department includes both basic and applied knowledge and skills.
- Undergraduate students are required to have a minimum of 134 credits for graduation. Among the 134 credits, fifty-five come from the required courses of the department. These courses provide fundamental training in basic knowledge as well as practice in psychology.
- Undergraduate students can further choose to master in one or several of six learning domains, including psychometrics, experimental/cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, personality/social psychology, clinical/counseling psychology, and industrial psychology.
- Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in exchange programs for studying in the U.S. or Japan.
